How to take care your folding machine？

The folding machine is one of the main post-press equipments for the processing of books and newspapers. It is a machine that folds large printed sheets into posts according to certain specifications. The folding machine is a modern printing equipment produced with the modern printing industry, and has become one of the indispensable production equipment in the production process of printing enterprises. Therefore, the daily maintenance of the folding machine must be done well.

 ① Daily maintenance of the folding machine:

   · Clean the surroundings of the machine and the machine itself;

   · Check whether the firmware is loose and worn, whether there is abnormal sound in operation, and whether each electric eye travel switch is normal and effective;

   · Add oil (about two drops of 30# oil) to the guide rod of the folding knife and the bakelite block;

   · Wipe the dust on each sensor with a clean soft cloth and clean the surrounding paper scraps.

  ② Weekly maintenance of the folding machine:

   · Add a small amount of oil to the support guide rod of the front gauge and paper gauge;

   · Fill the grease nozzle of the air pump with high temperature resistant grease and clean the air filter in the air pump.

  ③ Monthly maintenance of the folding machine:

   · Add butter to each butter nozzle of the machine;

   · Add oil once to the support and sliding parts that adjust the pressure of the folding roller;

   · Add oil once to the sprocket of the camshaft transmission part;

   · Clean the dust on each fence board and adjust the common parts of the fence to the best working function;

   · Clean or check whether the working state of the solenoid valve is normal;

   · Turn off the power of the folding machine for 10 minutes, clean the dust and paper scraps of the electric box, and visually observe abnormal phenomena such as loosening and falling off of the wireless head (if possible, please ask an electrician to accompany the inspection);

   · Adjust the pulley or check the tension (tightness) of all paper feeding belts to the proper position;

   · Clean up the inside of the machine, mop the machine and its surrounding ground to keep the inside of the machine and the ground free of excess grease to prevent electrical fires;

   · Check whether the fan pump motor is hot, ask an electrician to check whether the circuit is normal and effective;
